Geoff joined Roark Capital Group in January of 2010 as Vice President.  Roark Capital is a Private Equity Firm based in Atlanta, GA with $1.5B of capital under management. At Roark, Geoff is responsible for leading the sourcing activity for the Firm’s franchise and multi-unit investments as well as working with the Management teams of the existing portfolio to help them grow.

Prior to joining Roark in January of 2010, Geoff Hill was the President of Cinnabon, part of FOCUS Brands the franchisor of 2,200 ice cream stores, bakeries, and cafes in the United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and 32 foreign countries under the brand names Carvel, Cinnabon, Schlotzsky’s, Moe’s Southwest Grill, and the franchisor of Seattle’s Best Coffee on military bases and in certain international markets.  Hill currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Governors for the Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) program for the International Franchise Association (IFA) and the Board of Trustees for the IFA Educational Foundation.

In additional to his role as President of Cinnabon, at FOCUS Brands Hill held responsibilities for franchise sales, real estate, design & construction, and franchise administration.

Prior to FOCUS Brands, Hill was Vice President of US Franchise Systems, managing the franchise sales and development for Microtel Inns and Hawthorn Suites in the Western U.S.  Hill started his career with the Bristol Hotel Company, one of the largest hotel owners and operators in the U.S. where he held roles from Director of Sales to General Manager.  Hill is a graduate of the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration majoring in Hospitality Marketing and Operations and was a member of the Order of Omega Honor Society.  He also played Varsity Football at Cornell and was a member of the 1990 Ivy League Championship Team.
